optionalchopped nuts, shredded coconut, or sprinkles
Instructions
Prepare the Banana: Peel the bananas and slice them into 1-inch thick rounds. Arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
Coat the Banana Slices: Using a fork or a toothpick, dip each banana slice into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off before placing it back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
Add Toppings: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on each banana bite. If desired, add chopped nuts, shredded coconut, or sprinkles to the tops for extra flavor and texture.
Cool Down: Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has hardened completely.
Serve: Once frozen, remove the banana bites from the baking sheet and transfer them to an airtight container. Enjoy them immediately or store them in the freezer for a refreshing treat anytime.
Notes
