In a large bowl, combine the ground beef (or turkey), breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, egg, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until fully combined.
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Form the meat mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
While the meatballs are baking, prepare the glaze. In a small saucepan, combine the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Heat over medium-low until warmed through, stirring occasionally.
Once the meatballs are done baking, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a larger bowl. Pour the sweet chili glaze over the meatballs, tossing to coat them evenly.
Return the glazed meatballs to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 5 minutes to set the glaze.
Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before plating.
Notes
Serve on a platter garnished with sliced green onions and a drizzle of extra sweet chili sauce for added flair. Consider serving with toothpicks for a fun appetizer option!
