Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef or turkey, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, chopped green onions, cilantro, egg, soy sauce, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the meat mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until fully cooked and browned.
While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sweet chili pineapple glaze. In a small saucepan over medium heat, add the pineapple chunks along with the sweet chili sauce and sesame oil. Stir and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the mixture is heated through and slightly thickened.
Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and gently toss them in the sweet chili pineapple glaze until they are well coated.
Serve the meatballs hot, garnished with additional chopped cilantro and green onions, if desired.
